TAICHUNG, TAIWAN

Adventures finest. Me and the ladies at the Fengyuan train station, heading to Taichung.
(L-R) Whitney, Kristi, Katy, Meg, Me, Laura and Erin

Epic shot. Thanks, Laura.

Markets...everywhere, selling whole hosts of madness.

The Modern Toilet Restaurant...VERY good.

Asians, by nature, are curious about bodily functions...hence, this restaurant imitating all sorts of bathroom talk, paraphinilia, wall hangings, and even serving dishes.

Take a seat. Or, rather, take a toilet. At this lovely restaurant, you sit on toilets.

The bigger picture.

My meal came in a bathtub...

As for dessert (which consisted of shaved ice and some other mysteries), it came in the infamous Asian "squatter" (a.k.a. toilet).

A little formal picture couldn't hurt, eh?

I am in love with this mural. I'd like to purchase it promptly.
(you might notice some "bathroom talk" behind me..)

I think this belongs to Michael Jackson.

It felt so appropriate.

This restaurant was stunningly fascinating! So much to see and experience... It probably has been the nicest restaurant I have been in Taiwan. The food was good, the decor was remarkably captivating and innovative. I'll come again. Don't you worry.

I love yellow. And sunglasses. And Taiwan. The end.

Fromlove New World Park. Now, this was an experience.

Me and Erin getting ready to water zorb...

Inside the GIANT plastic ball...

Getting pulled in, after a vigorous rat race...no pun intended.

Success.

Katy in the rounder, clearer ball. One man show.

Fromlove New Park glories. I love architecture.

Another rock pebble delight. I = addicted.

Architecture of delight.

Hmmm..I'd like to take this and put it in my pocket.

This is going in my backyard. Consider it a new type of jungle gym.

This park brings me joy. A numerous amount of joy.

This bridge was designed to have a bumpy journey. Up and down you go.

A shot of the bumpy journey.

And now, and ode to the trees.
Tree #1

Everybody fancies an umbrella tree..

And you can't forget the mushroom tree.

Lastly, the tree that dances like children of the night.

Castle looking school...notice the architectural influences...(Russia, Spain, England)

I'd love a HAMBURG.
(Keane, anyone??)

A privately owned school endorsed by Michael, Jermaine, Tido and brothers??
Awkward. I wonder what kind of "English" they teach there...

LITTLE CHILLINS

Kyan- total energy ball, if I ever saw one!

My little kids...(L-R) Lilian, Emily, Kyan, Jay and Kendra

Rae and Elaine...it's amazing they are not running around...hmmm..

I love these little bundles of joy.
(L-R) Jenny, Me, Eason, Rae, Bryson and Elaine

Rae and Katrina...aren't they cute little things??

We are "supposed" to be making CATS...I think we got off track...
Kendra and Lilian. Cute lil buttons.

Is it legal to say I have a FAVORITE???
I seriously love Cooper!! He is a sheer delight!

I teach Kindergarten, with the children varying in ages. Usually though, they are about 3-4 years old. They are so smart and a surprisingly large amount of English. Bless their cute little souls. Right now I am in charge of Creative Exploration, an area which allows the children to use English in a creative manner. We have made cat masks, parachutes, butterflys, and next week we are reading Brown Bear, Brown bear-then we are making bear masks...hopefully they enjoy!! I love teaching these cute little kids..they seriously are super sweet, and I just want to squish their little cheeks.

VENTURE TO TAIPEI

Red bridge that caught my eye.

Lush greens (a.k.a Landscape) in Taiwan

Rest stop madness...SQUARE lightposts...I think I am IN LOVE.

Another rest stop pleasure. SQUARE blocks...with water. (I seriously LOVE squares and patterns).

MOUNTAINS...of joy.

Taipei City. Glorious.

Taipei Zoo...from afar.

Residents of Taipei...they live ON the mountain. Splendid.

Downtown Taipei..I like the overpass walk ways.

Taipei Temple

Temple grounds

Please. Stop. Now.

This is for the fans.

The Last Supper...with brilliant artists (musicians) from the 70's....

The Last Supper, continued... Asian style, of course...

I am VERY proud of this photograph. Taipei 101

Devin...with Coca-Cola. Want some Asian beverage?

Mmmm...I'll have that....WAIT, WHAT IS THAT??

Ah, Yes. I'll invest in this...

Although this is just a street in Taipei, I had to capture its' beauty.

And, then there's me. With Taipei goodness yonder.

Taipei 101. sheer beauty. Architecturally, it's astounding.

An affair to remember.

Nothing says FUN like a little down time, eh?

Scooter ride!!! Me and my friend Yvonne.

Another shot of the scooter rendevous.

Taichung, Taiwan

Scooters are a big deal.

Chinese characters...yes, on the road. Delightful?

The tunnel of death.

Remember the bridge from above? It lights up...

The beauty is.

The bridge before the tunnel. The view of Feng Yuan is, again, stunning.

View from the bridge. I just missed the sunset...moo...

Enter. If. You. Dare.

THE TUNNEL. It's probably about 1 mile long.

Pebbles of sorts. Magical.

Whimsical tree. Love begins.
